On February 27th Hamden Police responded to T.J. Maxx, 2335 Dixwell Avenue on the report of a robbery.

Investigation revealed that Tatiana Bojka exited the store with merchandise, valued at $270.00. A loss prevention officer made an attempt to detain her. Bojka advised the employee that she was in the possession of a needle and that she would stab him. She subsequently entered a motor vehicle, fleeing towards Skiff Street.

Officer Robert O’Neill conducted an extensive investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Bojka. The court approved the arrest warrant application.

On May 16th Bojka was arrested at Meriden Superior Court. Bojka, 37, of 645 Grand Avenue, New Haven was charged with Robbery in the 3rd Degree and Larceny in the 6th Degree. She was detained on a court-ordered $75,000.00 bond. She was arraigned later in the day.

The New Haven Police Department assisted in the investigation.
