On June 25, 2018, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Hamden Police responded to the area of Warren Street near First Street on a reported shots fired. Investigation revealed that the shooting involved 2 vehicles. One of the occupants was shot and transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Initial investigation indicates that the shooting was not a random incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Dolan of the Major Crimes Unit @ (203)230-4065.
