On July 26, 2018 Hamden Police responded to AAA Northeast, 2276 Whitney Avenue on the report of fraud.

Investigation revealed that Brendan Dubose deposited 2 fraudulent checks, totaling $7,700.00 onto his “travel Visa Card.”

Officer Joseph Venditto conducted the investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Dubose. The court approved the arrest warrant application.

On September 27th Hamden Police arrested Brendan Dubose, 22, of 42 Daisy Street, New Haven. He was charged with Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Issuing a Bad Check, Conspiracy to Commit Issuing a Bad Check, Forgery in the 2nd Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the 2nd Degree. Dubose, who was detained on a court-ordered $2,500.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on October 11th.
