On October 7, 2018 a 19 year-old New Haven resident arrived at Hamden Police Headquarters to report a robbery.

The teen advised police that on October 5th at approximately 2:30p.m. he was scheduled to meet with a “prostitute” on State Street. Upon arriving on State Street, he was approached by 2 males. The males told him that they were in the possession of a firearm, while rummaging through his pockets. They stole $140.00.

Moments later, the 2 males “forced” the teen victim into the backseat of his vehicle. One of the subjects drove the victim’s vehicle, while the other sat with the victim in the backseat. They then drove to several ATM’s and removed an additional $600.00 from the victim’s bank accounts. They subsequently drove to a residence in New Haven, where the victim was released.

The subjects are described as follows:

Subject #1 – black male, 5’10”, slim build, beard and mustache
Subject #2 – black male, 5’6”, slim build, beard and mustache
