On October 9, 2018 at approximately 12:15 p.m. Hamden Police responded to Miller Memorial Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue on the report of suspicious activity.

Investigation revealed that an 18 year-old Hamden resident was “studying on the third floor” when she was approached by an unidentified male. The male engaged her in a short conversation. He then stood in front of her and “exposed his genitals.”

As the unidentified male exited the library, a staff member attempted to detain him. He subsequently entered a blue Audi station wagon and fled northbound on Dixwell Avenue. He is described as a black male, 5’10”, average build wearing a hooded sweatshirt and pajama bottoms.
