On June 9, 2022, at approximately 5:30 a.m., members of the New Haven Shooting Task force with assistance from the Hamden Police Department’s Emergency Services Unit (ESU) personnel conducted a search warrant at 504 Pine Rock Avenue in Hamden. During the execution of the search warrant, officers located a semi-automatic firearm.
Eric Joyner, 27, of 504 Pine Rock Avenue, was arrested at the scene. Eric Joyner was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm (53a-217c) and is being held in lieu of a $100,000.00 surety bond, and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on June 30, 2022.
