On June 17, 2022, officers from the Hamden Police Department and New Haven Police Department executed a search warrant at a Mill Rock Road residence in regards to an ongoing criminal investigation. During the investigation, an occupant of the residence, later identified as Tyrone Zimmerman, threw a loaded firearm out of a bedroom window.
Zimmerman, age 20 of Hamden, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Interfering with a Search Warrant. He was held on a $50,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on June 30, 2022.
