On August 17, 2022 at approximately 12:45 PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to the Connex Credit Union, 2100 Dixwell Avenue, on a reported robbery. The suspect entered the credit union and passed a note to the bank teller demanding money. No weapons were displayed and no one was injured. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are leading the investigation. The suspect was described as a female, dark complexion, approximately 5’03”-5’05”, wearing a blue hoodie and surgical mask. Detectives are following up on several leads.
