On August 21, 2022 at approximately 11:30 PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to Manila Avenue on a report of shots fired. Responding officers located one victim at the scene with a non-life threatening, gunshot injury to the leg. The 35-year-old male was transported by ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital. Police recovered ballistic evidence at the scene and are following up on multiple leads.
Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are actively investigating the shooting.
