On September 6, 2022 at approximately 6:00 PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to the area of Ridge Road on a report of a missing child. The preliminary investigation revealed that family members were concerned about the whereabouts of Melody Bookert DOB 08/12/2020, as well as the child’s father, Jaheem Bookert DOB 09/27/2001.

The two-year-old child (Melody) was last seen with her father (Jaheem) on September 04, 2022 in the area of Ridge Road. Jaheem Bookert has no permanent address or cellphone. He is often times with Melody for extended periods of time. Family members have not been in able to get in contact with Jaheem and Melody Bookert since Sunday. They became concerned after several days passed without any contact.

Jaheem Bookert is described as a 20-year-old black male, approximately 5’08” tall, average build, with black hair and brown eyes. Melody Bookert is described as a 2-year-old black female, light complexion, with dark hair and brown eyes.
