On October 26, 2018 at approximately 4:00a.m. Hamden Police responded to the 900 block of Mix Avenue on the report of suspicious activity. A concerned citizen reported hearing power tools emanating from the parking lot.

Moments later, officers detained Darnell Bullitt, Robert Callahan and Lamar Pierre. Investigation led to the search of their motor vehicle. Officers located a vast array of power tools and 4 catalytic converters that were recently removed from nearby parked vehicles. They were promptly arrested and transported to police headquarters.

Hamden Police arrested:

Darnell Bullitt, 39, of 2028 West 10th Street, Cleveland, Ohio. He was charged with Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Possession of Burglar Tools. Bullitt, who was detained on a $25,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on November 9th.

Robert Callahan, 34, of 1403 Victory South, Euclid, Ohio. He was charged with Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Possession of Burglar Tools. Callahan, who was detained on a $25,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on November 9th.

Lamar Pierre, 31, of 3400 Sisby Street, Cleveland, Ohio. He was charged with Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Possession of Burglar Tools. Pierre, who was detained on a $25,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on November 9th. Pierre, who was wanted on the strength of an arrest warrant out of Ohio, was also charged with Fugitive from Justice.
