The Hamden Police Department, along with the Hamden Fire Department, are proud to collaborate this holiday season with Hometown Foundation for their annual Thanksgiving food drive. Last year, we were able to help donate over 200 turkeys and holiday fixings to the Hamden Food Bank.
This year’s event will take place at Hamden Police headquarters on November 17, 2022, beginning at 10:30 AM. Hamden police motorcycles and cruisers will escort exotic sports cars, along with all the donated food, to the Hamden Keefe Center.

The Hometown Foundation’s annual HungerLESS Holiday program is one of the largest turkey and produce distributions and donations in the Northeast, donating more than 25,000 turkeys and thousands of pounds of produce to families and individuals suffering from food insecurity.
The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization committed to supporting those in need in conjunction with Bozzuto's, Inc., its family of retailers and community business partners. The Hometown Foundation, established in 2002, raises money to support a broad range of programs that helps meet community needs.
