On 11/12/22 just after midnight, officers responded to the area of Norton Avenue and Palmer Avenue for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer Bryce located the vehicle and the operator, Javon Rose, age 27, out of Prospect, CT. Through the course of the investigation, two handguns were recovered inside the vehicle, along with various ammunition. Rose does not have a pistol permit.
Rose was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit and Weapons in a Motor Vehicle. Rose is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on November 28, 2022 and was held on a $25,000 bond.
