On November 15, 2022, Hamden Police arrested Naszier Beall, age 19 of New Haven, Levante Player, age 20 of New Haven, and Kevin Wilfong-Dixon, age 21 of New Haven, on an outstanding arrest warrant at Meriden Superior Court. Player, Beall and Wilfong-Dixon were each charged with Robbery in the first degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree, Illegal use of a Credit Card, Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Use of a Credit Card, Credit Card Theft, and Conspiracy to Commit Credit Card Theft. Additionally, Beall was charged with Criminal Possession of a Pistol, Carrying a Pistol without a Permit and Negligent Storage of a Firearm.

The charges stem from an investigation of a carjacking that took place on October 27th, 2022 on Town Walk Drive. Detective Andrew Lipford, along with Detectives from the Hamden Police Department Major Crimes Unit, Connecticut State Police, Milford Police Department, the New Haven Shooting Task Force and the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives task force conducted the extensive investigation.

At the time of their arrest, all three parties were in custody at the Department of Corrections on unrelated charges. All three parties were held on a $500,000 court set bond and appeared in Meriden Superior Court on November 15th, 2022.
