On 11/22/22 at 7:40pm, the Hamden Police Department responded to the area of Towne House Road for a report of suspicious activity.
The caller reported observing three unknown males in the parking lot, looking into vehicles. The caller stated that when Police arrived, they all ran toward the woods to the rear of the complex. Two vehicles were later found vandalized in the parking lot.
Officer Christina Giori was checking the area, and located a 15-year-old male matching the description given by the caller. The other two males were not located. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 15-year-old Juvenile from Hamden was charged with 2 counts of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Burglary in the Third Degree, Attempted Larceny in the Second Degree and Criminal Trover.
The Juvenile is scheduled to appear in New Haven Superior Court for Juvenile Matters on November 28th, 2022.
