On April 28, 2018 Hamden Police responded to #1 Fish Market, 2239 State Street on the report of a larceny. The complainant reported that approximately $200,000.00 worth of seafood has been stolen from his business during the past few years.

Investigation revealed that Lance Graver, the Assistant Manager, would arrive at work early on Monday mornings and steal approximately $800.00 worth of seafood. Graver would place the stolen seafood inside of his motor vehicle and then work his assigned day. Graver told police that he stole $800.00 worth of seafood, once a week for 4 years.

Detective Donald Remillard conducted an extensive investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Graver. The court approved the arrest warrant application.

On October 25, 2018 Hamden Police arrested Lance Graver. Graver, 57, of 229 Branford Road, Unit 150, North Branford was charged with Larceny in the 1st Degree. Graver is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on November 8th.
