On August 13th, 2023, at approximately 1:30 am, the Hamden Police Department responded to Regency Hill Condominiums, 304 Pine Rock Avenue, for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located a male victim, a 32-year-old Hamden resident, on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Detectives from the Crime Scene Unit responded to process the scene. The victim was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries. The Major Crimes Unit assumed the investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Gabriel Garcia at 203-230-4000.
