On 02/16/24 Hamden Police Officers responded to a Warner Street address on a complaint of a domestic violence incident involving a stabbing. The victim was found to have been stabbed with a knife. Hamden Police Officers secured the scene and medical personnel responded immediately.
Hamden police officers searched the area for the suspect who was know to the victim. A short time later officer Michael Dwyer and Officer Christina Kelley located and arrested Leonardo Miller d.o.b. 12/06/98 of Hamden. Miller was charged with Assault 1st degree and Disorderly Conduct. He was held on a $200,000 bond.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. The victim is expected to survive.
Hamden Detective Kelley Cushman is the lead investigator for this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
