The Hamden Police Department is announcing a temporary road closure on Still Hill Road in Hamden on Friday May 10,2024 from 7:30am - 8:30am and 3:30pm - 4:30pm. The closure will be on a 1 mile portion of Still Hill Road from West Todd Street to Johnson Road. A map of the closure is attached.
This temporary closure is for students and family of the West Woods School that are participating in the “Bike and Roll to School Day.” The Bike and Roll to School Day invites participants to celebrate the joy of active commuting while building a sense of community and school spirit. Students and families will be meeting at the Johnson Road Firehouse and biking to and from the West Woods School.
Hamden Police Officers will be present for the closure and to participate in the event. Residents of the area will be able to access their homes.
