The Hamden Police Department recently completed a “Click-It or Ticket Enforcement Program.” Enforcement efforts commenced on November 20th and concluded on November 24th. Funding for the program was granted by the Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.

Hamden Police issued 127 infractions for seat belt violations. In addition, officers issued 4 summonses for various motor vehicle violations. Enforcement was conducted on Dixwell Avenue, Whitney Avenue, State Street, Washington Avenue and Pine Rock Avenue.
