On November 30, 2018 Hamden Police met with a Town of Hamden Public Works supervisor regarding an ongoing dumping complaint.
Hamden Police learned that several items, including roofing shingles, have been “illegally dumped” on Mountain Road in the recent past. The Public Works Department reported that the dumping became so “egregious”, that they found it necessary to install cameras in the area.
On November 28th another illegal dumping incident occurred on Mountain Road. The camera images depict 2 individuals dumping roofing shingles. They are described as a white or Hispanic male, dark beard and a black male. Their motor vehicle is described as a “dark-colored Dodge Dakota.”
