The Hamden Police Department participated in a “Toy Drive” this past weekend. The event was organized by the Hamden Police Department and Hamden Youth Center.

Hamden Police would like to thank all of the participants, including members of the Hamden High School Cheerleading Team, Hamden Explorers, Hamden Police Officers and Hamden Firefighters. Special thanks to those organizations that donated toys, gift cards and money. Generous donations were received from Quinnipiac University, CAPS Woodworking, Luigimady LLC and the Hamden Police Union.

The Hamden Police Department and Hamden Youth Center received approximately $3,500.00 in cash/gift cards and over 550 toys for distribution.
