On December 7, 2018 at approximately 8:30p.m. Hamden Police responded to OZ Korean Kitchen, 2775 Dixwell Avenue on the report of a robbery.
Investigation revealed that an individual, described as a white male, 5’7”, wearing dark clothing approached an employee and asked for change. When the employee opened the cash drawer, the individual attempted to steal its contents. The employee briefly struggled with the individual. A customer struck the individual with her purse, in an attempt to “stop” him.
The investigation is continuing. Hamden Police is expecting to make an arrest for this attempted robbery.
