On January 17, 2018 Hamden Police responded to a Dunbar Hill Road Extension residence on the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed that Gamalier Santiago forcibly entered the residence and stole several items, including electronic equipment and credit cards.
Sergeant William Onofrio conducted an extensive investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Santiago. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On December 18, 2018 Hamden Police arrested Santiago, 24, of 28 Arlington Street, Meriden. He was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Larceny in the 6th Degree and Credit Card Theft. Santiago, who was detained on a $35,000.00 court-ordered bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on January 3, 2019.
