On August 13, 2018 Hamden Police responded to K and J Tree Removal, 2485 Whitney Avenue on the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed that several trucks were forcibly entered. Numerous items were stolen, including chainsaws and leaf blowers. The loss was estimated at several thousand dollars.
On August 22nd Stratford Police had taken William Bradley into custody. Bradley was in the possession of items that were stolen in the Hamden burglary. Further investigation led to the discovery of multiple tools, including power equipment.
Detective Donald Remillard conducted the investigation. An arrest warrant application was submitted to the court. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On January 2, 2019 Hamden Police arrested William Bradley, 40, of 138 Wiklund Avenue, Stratford. He was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Larceny in the 3rd Degree. Bradley, who was detained on a court-ordered $15,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on January 16th.
