12/4/2017 - 12/04/17-Drug Arrest

On December 1st at approximately 2:00p.m. members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team, Patrol Division and Emergency Services Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at 237 Goodrich Street, (first floor) regarding a drug investigation. Officers had conducted an extensive investigation into drug sales at that address.

A search of James Dickerson, who was occupying the residence, led to the discovery of 40.9 grams of cocaine, 3.8 grams of marijuana and $466.00. He was promptly arrested and transported to police headquarters.

Hamden Police arrested James Dickerson, 34, of 37 Elm Street in New Haven. He was charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with the Intent to Sell and Interfering with a Police Officer. Dickerson, who was released after posting a $10,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on December 15th.
