On February 5, 2019 members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team, United States Marshal Service Violent Fugitive Task Force and the New Haven Shooting Task Force responded to 47 Winnett Street and arrested Phillip Moye on the strength of an arrest warrant.
The encounter with Moye, led to the application of a search and seizure warrant for his residence. The court approved the application. A search of Moye’s residence led to the discovery of 42 ounces of marijuana, 4.5 grams of cocaine and a 9mm handgun. Further investigation led to the discovery of a stolen handgun. The stolen handgun was located at another Hamden residence.
Hamden Police arrested:
Phillip Moye, 20, of 47 Winnett Street, Hamden. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Sale of a Controlled Substance and Violation of Probation. Moye, who was detained on a $500,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on February 19th.
Kiveon Hyman, 20, of 47 Winnett Street, Hamden. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Sale of a Controlled Substance. Hyman, who was detained on a $150,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on February 19th.
