On February 23, 2019 at approximately 8:15p.m. Hamden Police responded to the area of Dixwell Avenue and Morse Street on the report of an armed street robbery.
Investigation revealed that a 25 year-old Branford resident attempted to sell his “PlayStation 4” on an “app.” He was subsequently contacted by a person that was interested in purchasing the item. An arrangement was made to complete the sale in a parking lot, located in the vicinity of Dixwell Avenue and Morse Street.
The victim was met by 2 people, described as black males, 20’s, both having a thin build. One of the subjects took the PlayStation 4 and “walked away laughing.” The second subject pointed a firearm at the victim and threatened to shoot him. They both fled on foot eastbound on Morse Street.
