On April 14, 2019 at approximately 2:00a.m. Hamden Police responded to “Off the Hook”, 940 Dixwell Avenue on the report of “shots fired.”
Moments later, officers located a gunshot victim in the parking lot. The victim, a 23 year-old Hamden resident, was shot in the thigh. Shortly thereafter, a second victim, a 27 year-old New Haven resident, was found lying in front of the establishment, with a gunshot wound to the chest. Both victims were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital for medical treatment.
The Hamden Police Department Detective Division is conducting the investigation.
