On May 5, 2019 at approximately 11:55p.m. Hamden Police responded to Studio 1537, 1537 Dixwell Avenue on the report of shots fired.

Studio 1537 security staff stated that they “heard a fight” in the area. They then heard several gunshots in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Cumley Street.

Hamden Police searched the area and located several pieces of evidence. There were no reported victims.
