On December 9th at approximately 8:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to the area of Dixwell Avenue and Goodrich Street on the report of an armed street robbery.

Investigation revealed that a 23 year-old Hamden resident was walking eastbound on Goodrich Street, carrying a bag of food. He was approached by an individual, described as a black male, 5’10”, thin build, wearing dark-colored clothing, who was in the possession of a firearm. The individual grabbed “a bag of cheeseburgers” from the victim. He subsequently fled on foot, westbound on Goodrich Street.
