On July 5, 2019 at approximately 2:00a.m. Hamden Police responded to a Concord Street address on the report of a “robbery with a firearm.”
The victim, a 23 year-old New Haven resident, was attempting to fix his disabled 2014 “Honda IceBear Grom” motorcycle. He advised police that while seated on his motorcycle, it was “tapped” by a 2008 grey Volkswagon Jetta. He was subsequently ejected and fell onto the street. He was not injured during the incident.
The victim stated that 3 black males emerged from the vehicle with firearms. One the individuals, described as a black male, 20’s, 6’, thin build, wearing a white tee shirt and black shorts, stole the motorcycle, pushing it towards Dante Place. The other individuals followed the motorcycle in the Volkswagon Jetta.
