On July 27, 2019 at approximately 11:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to the parking lot located at 2300 Dixwell Avenue on the report of “threatening with a firearm.”
Investigation revealed that a 35 year-old Georgia resident was sitting inside of her motor home bus, when she was approached by a white male that was wielding a handgun. The victim stated that the white male, who was later identified as Aleksandro Radman, approached the motor home, reached into his waistband and pointed a firearm through a window. There were several occupants inside of the motor home that “ran to the back” and took cover.
Shortly thereafter, officers located Radman and placed him under arrest. A bb gun was located inside of his parked motor vehicle.
Hamden Police arrested Aleksandro Radman, 18, of 10 Woodcrest Drive, Prospect. He was charged with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Weapon in a Motor Vehicle, Threatening in the 1st Degree and Breach of Peace in the 2nd Degree. Radman, who was detained on a $10,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on August 8, 2019.
