On August 19, 2019 between 5:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to multiple weather related incidents.
During this time period, officers were dispatched to various calls for service, including wires down, trees blocking roadways, traffic signal issues, burglar alarms and a motor vehicle (rollover) accident on Dixwell Avenue.
For several hours officers conducted traffic control at major intersections due to power outages.
