On September 15, 2019 at approximately 3:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to Pine Street on the report of an armed street robbery.

The victim, a 30 year-old Wallingford resident, told police that he was meeting a relative. While standing on Pine Street, a motor vehicle, described as a silver Honda, 4 door, with tinted windows, pulled alongside of him. A male exited the passenger door and pointed a firearm at him. The male, described as a light-skinned black male, “young face”, 5’9”, subsequently stole his wallet and cell phone. The vehicle fled from the area towards Dix Street.

The Hamden Police Department Detective Division is conducting the investigation.
