On September 18, 2019 Hamden Police responded to a Mill Rock Road residence on the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed that entry was gained through a bedroom window, while the resident was asleep. Several items were stolen, including electronic equipment and the victim’s motor vehicle.
Several hours thereafter, Detective Joseph Liguori and Sergeant Michael Nawrocki located the stolen vehicle on Bassett Street in New Haven. Two individuals were standing in close proximity to the stolen vehicle. Further investigation revealed that they were responsible for burglarizing the Mill Rock Road residence and stealing the vehicle.
Hamden Police arrested:
Tracey Ray, 22, of 30 Ferry Street, Middletown. He was charged with Larceny in the 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 1st Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the 2nd Degree. Ray, who was detained on a $5,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on October 1, 2019.
A 17 year-old New Haven resident. He was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 1st Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the 2nd Degree. He is scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court in New Haven on October 1, 2019.
