On September 23, 2019 at approximately 7:30p.m. Hamden Police responded to a Lexington Street address on the report of a “fight in progress.”
The 20 year-old resident advised officers that 3 females, forced entry into her home and that one of them assaulted her. She received several injuries, including an injury to her forehead, eye, neck and wrist. The females stole several items, including a wallet, money and marijuana.
Moments later, Sergeant William Onofrio located the 3 females on Rochford Avenue. They were subsequently arrested and transported to police headquarters.
Hamden Police arrested:
Brianna Frederick, 21, of 963 Sherman Avenue, Apartment 1, New Haven. She was charged with Home Invasion, Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion, Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Larceny in the 2nd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Assault in the 3rd Degree. Frederick, who was detained on a $5,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on October 3rd.
Yvonne Kelley, 26, of 50 Waverly Street, New Haven. She was charged with Home Invasion, Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion, Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Larceny in the 2nd Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 2nd Degree. Kelley, who was detained on a $5,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on October 3rd.
Kiyesha Smith, 21, of 123 Cedarhill Street, New Haven. She was charged with Home Invasion, Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion, Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Larceny in the 2nd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 2nd Degree, Interfering with a Police Officer and Possession of Marijuana. Smith, who was detained on a $5,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on October 3rd. In addition, Smith was arrested on the strength of 2 outstanding warrants, originating from New Haven.
