On November 21, 2019 the Hamden Police Department K-9 Unit, along with the Hometown Foundation will be donating 125 frozen turkeys to the Hamden Food Bank for the Thanksgiving holiday.
At 11:00a.m. Hamden Police Officers will meet at the upper level of the police garage, to load the turkeys into police cruisers, prior to delivery. There will be a small parade of vehicles that will be escorted to the Keefe Center, where the turkeys will be delivered.
The Hamden Police Department would like to thank the Hometown Foundation for making this worthy cause possible.
