On May 4, 2020 Assistant Animal Control Officer Mitch Gibbs responded to a Hill Street residence on the report of a “kitten stuck under a house.”
AACO Gibbs located the kitten, which was trapped “10 to 15 feet” underneath a deck. After approximately an hour and a half, AACO Gibbs successfully removed the kitten, utilizing a “fishing net on an extendable pole.” The kitten, which is 2 to 3 weeks old, was transported to the North Haven Animal Hospital for medical treatment.
