On July 8, 2020 at approximately 2:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to the report of an armed street robbery that occurred in the area of Mix Avenue.
Investigation revealed that the victim, a 21 year-old Hamden resident, was approached by occupants of a tan motor vehicle, while walking on Mix Avenue. The passenger, described as a “light-skinned black male”, pointed a “small caliber handgun” at him, while demanding his belongings. The victim’s cell phone was subsequently stolen.
Detective Joseph Liguori of the Hamden Police Department Detective Division is conducting the investigation.
