On December 3, 2017 Hamden Police responded to the report of a burglary that had occurred at a Third Street residence.
Investigation revealed that Gregory Edmonds had forcibly entered a basement apartment. Once inside, Edmonds stole several items, including a camera and a blow dryer. The stolen items are valued at $163.00.
Officer Rachel Zinni conducted an investigation which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Edmonds. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On January 8th Officer Zinni and Officer Andrew Lipford arrested Edmonds at his Third Street residence. Edmonds, 48, was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Larceny in the 6th Degree. Edmonds, who was detained on a $10,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on January 19th.
