On June 19, 2020 Hamden Police responded to the report of a burglary at Waddell and Reed, 2319 Whitney Avenue.
Investigation revealed that a “heavy safe”, containing checks, keys and paperwork was stolen. An employee stated that he believes that “it would take two people” to lift the safe.
