On July 23, 2020 Hamden Police responded to The Home Depot, 1873 Dixwell Avenue on the report of an attempted larceny.
Investigation revealed that an individual, described as a Hispanic male, 5’10”, 180lbs., wearing a blue shirt, black pants and black shoes exited the store with approximately $1,600.00 worth of stolen merchandise. The individual was approached by a Loss Prevention Officer. He subsequently left the stolen merchandise behind, and fled from the area in a maroon Ford Escape.
