On May 17, 2020 Hamden Police responded to Concord Street on the report of an armed street robbery.
Investigation revealed that a Pianca Pizza employee was making a delivery to a Concord Street address. Upon arrival, a young male, wearing a “black face mask” emerged from a driveway, displaying a firearm. The delivery driver gave the subject an undisclosed amount of money and a pizza.
Detective Shawn Nutcher conducted an extensive investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for a 16 year-old Hamden resident. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On August 5th the juvenile was arrested and transported to Juvenile Detention. He was charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the 1st Degree and Larceny in the 2nd Degree.
