On January 10th at approximately 10:30p.m. Hamden Police responded to the Hamden Variety Store, 1555 Dixwell Avenue on the report of an armed robbery.

Investigation revealed that an individual, described as a black male, thin build, wearing dark clothing and a black mask entered the store armed with a handgun. He subsequently stole an undisclosed amount of money. He was last observed fleeing southbound on Dixwell Avenue.
