On August 20, 2020, shortly after 8:00p.m., Hamden Police responded to a “threatening with a firearm” complaint in the area of Mott Street and Warner Street.
It was determined that Eric Shurko was pointing a rifle at 2 people. He was promptly arrested and transported to police headquarters.
Hamden Police arrested Eric Shurko, 43, of Hamden. He was charged with 2 counts of Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree, 2 counts of Threatening in the 2nd Degree and 2 counts of Breach of Peace in the 2nd Degree. Shurko, who was released after posting a $50,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on October 1st.
