On September 17, 2020 at approximately 4:15a.m. Hamden Police responded to the rear of 3000 Whitney Avenue on the report of a larceny.
Investigation revealed that Ronald Gutierrez and Isaac Thenlora were siphoning cooking oil from the grease dumpsters, that were located on the property. Inside of their van, officers located (2) 250 gallon containers and a gas pump, with siphoning hoses.
Gutierrez (26) and Thenlora (23) of Yonkers, New York were charged with Larceny in the 6th Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 6th Degree. They were both detained on a $1,000.00 bond. They are scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on October 1st.
In addition, Gutierrez was arrested on the strength of a warrant, originating out of Enfield. He was charged with Failure to Appear in the 2nd Degree.
