On October 6, 2020 Hamden Police arrested Daniel Oler at Meriden Superior Court.
Oler was arrested for his involvement in two commercial burglaries that occurred on
March 9, 2020.
Oler forced entry into Subway, 2411 Whitney Avenue. He stole an undisclosed amount
of money. Shortly thereafter, he forcibly entered the Gulf Gas Station, 3070 Whitney
Avenue. Again, he stole an undisclosed amount of money.
Detective Shawn Nutcher conducted an investigation, which led to the application of
arrest warrants for Oler. The court approved the arrest warrant applications.
Oler, 49, of 2148 Seaview Avenue, Bridgeport was charged with 2 counts of Burglary in
the 3rd Degree and 2 counts of Larceny in the 6th Degree. He was detained on courtordered bonds, totaling $50,000.00.
