1/14/2018 - 1/14/18 Robbery Shell Gas, 3050 Whitney

On January 13th at approximately 6:00a.m. Hamden Police responded to Shell Gas, 3050 Whitney Avenue on the report of an armed robbery.

Investigation revealed that an individual, described as a male, "spanish accent", wearing a gray shirt entered the store wielding a firearm. The individual "jumped over the counter", while demanding money from the cash register. He stole an undisclosed amount of money and 2 packs of cigarettes. He subsequently fled on foot towards Home Place. He was last observed inside of a "small, dark-colored sedan", southbound on Whitney Avenue.
