The following is a brief synopsis of the two incidents:
08:27 – Officers responded to Pearl Dental Care, 1834 Dixwell Avenue on the report of a street robbery. Investigation revealed that a 58 year-old employee arrived at work and was walking towards the front door. A motor vehicle, described as a dark-colored sports utility vehicle, stopped next to her. A “young” male exited the vehicle and demanded her purse. She refused, at which time she was “taken to the ground.” Upon screaming, the male fled in the SUV, eastbound on Robert Street.
